Statistics Tutorial: Design and Analysis of Experiments
This is a tutorial for Dr. Brash's statistics class, at Christopher Newport University. Here, we will present detailed solutions to several problems from the first few chapters of Design and Analysis of Experiments, 6th ed. by Douglas Montgomery. Solutions are available in Microsoft Excel format and R format. Although beginners typically find Microsoft Excel easier to use, it proves to be very limiting for more advanced statistical analysis. R is a much more flexible and powerful software package for statistical analysis which is freely available, but has a somewhat steeper learning curve than Excel.
